Preferred scrapping medium

What inspired you to begin your creative journey?

I have been madly obsessed by scrapbooking for almost half of my life. I never thought that a hobby that I took up as a teenager would still be fulfilling as an adult, but I continue to be inspired day after day. My children Tristan (10), Ethan (7) and Amelia (2) feature often on my pages and I treasure every layout. I also scrapbook because I love photography and like the idea that future generations will get to know me through my pages.

If you were to describe your scrapbooking style in five words, what would they be?

Creative, layered, graphic, stylish and arty.

What type of camera do you use?

Canon 500D saving for a 5D

Where do you do most of your scrapbooking?

At home is where I scrap the most I have a custom area for my scrapping and sewing supplies.

What time of day are you most creative, and what inspires you to create?

Usually when my youngest is having a nap and on Sundays when my usual inspiration hits me.

Why do you love sketches?

I love sketches because they give you a great start point that allows you to put your own interpretation on them and even though the sketch is the same every one's layouts look completely different.

Check out this gorgeous layout Rikki created based on Sketch no. 1!

First layout for the New Year for Made with Memories

My first post in the New Year for Made With Memories, and I must say I was a little bit excited about playing with the new range that they had brought into the shop and when you see it you will feel the same.

I have had this photo in my stash for awhile, and have been a bit afraid to do anything with it because I love the photo and I do mean LOVE, I worried if I every would have the right paper? , what embellishments do you put with it? these where questions that would go unanswered for under 2 years.

Am I alone out there with this dilemma or have you had this trouble? and have you gotten past it? or is it still in a box waiting to find the perfect scrapping supplies?

October Afternoon Farm girl pp & labels,
charm, Heidi Swapp word, kindy glitz.

See perfect for the photo, so why don't you pop into Made with Memories and grab some this October Afternoon paper....

Welcome to 2013

Well its here the New Year.... 2013.

A time to set goals and try to achieve them, so my goals this year is to; be more organised, to stop the procrastination, also I am going to do the photo 365 challenge this year (rather than photographing of layouts with photos in it) and to grow my blog followers and to participate in more online challenges.

So the with my New Years resolutions in place I would like to share my first challenge for the year. Inspired Blueprint has decided to start up again after a very long break and with that they are challenging people to rediscover there 1st sketch ever, I must say I love this company it is one of those challenges that gets you to do at least one layout a month.

Crate Paper pp, MME stickers, Purple Pumpkin button,
Pebbles and Blingology Pearls and Rhinestones.
