Cute Girl for Shop and Crop

Good morning how are you all? Hope your Christmas was awesome !!! Our was perfect with plenty of Uno and Monopoly games, a few rounds ended in tears but all and all it was great, except for the heat could have done without that. So post Christmas hangover we are onto the New Year...... are you doing any New Years Resolutions?

Myself I will be picking another Little Word as it was something easy to focus on during the year, mind you it really did test me with all that went on and to be honest I really couldnt understand at the time what the lesson was trying to teach me, but after some reflection I get it now....... my word was.....

kismet
ˈkɪzmɛt,-mɪt,-s-/
noun
  1. destiny; fate.

"what chance did I stand against kismet?"

    synonyms:fatedestinyfortuneprovidence, the stars, God's will, what is written in the stars, one's doom, one's portion, one's lot, one's lot in life, karmapredestinationpreordination,predetermination, what is to come, the writing on the wall;

So now I will have to think about my 2017 word....... But while I do that today I am sharing with you another layout still stash busting, and blending......

Raiding your Stash with Shop and Crop

Good morning how are you all? Well its officially getting exciting in our house hold , not long till Christmas and its always fun when you have little people involved with the process. I would love to take the time to wish you all a Merry Christmas, however your celebrate it, we will be spending some great family time and also spending time reflecting and being grateful after the events over the past couple of months, that is for sure.

Today I am continuing with last weeks theme, blending some old and new ranges and getting into your stash..... This week I made a heap of big embellishment cluster tags ( which I will share by the end of the month). After making them I decided to add one to this weeks layout, on a plus side I now have a few ready to go either for pages or for a quick card.... perfect when we are a little time poor over the festive season.

Scrapmatts his and hers......

Good afternoon how are you all? Getting busy with festive preparation? Myself that's what I have been doing hence the late post, but I am nearly done just need to do some food shopping and I am complete. We even fitted in our visit to Santa for Amelia, needless to say she was very excited and shy......

Today I am sharing with you two layouts using the awesome Scrapmatts Chipboard. I decided for some nautical inspiration today with his and her layouts. Just by changing a few papers and key chipboard pieces you can create two pages that are very quick and effective.

Stash busting.... with Shop and Crop

Good morning how are you all? Today marks the first day of the Christmas holidays and whhhhhhhhoooooooooooo I am excited, this hopefully marks some mojo change and some quality family time and of course some crafting time.

Today I am sharing with you a layout completed for Shop and Crop, using some of the very adorable Crate Paper range - Cute Girl  which is in store at the moment.

If your like me you want your stash to stretch out or you are on a budget especially at Christmas time, you want some new paper and some items but dont have the money to go with your disires. This month I will be sharing with you how to blend some old with new, how to go and create something from your stash and complete a few layouts.

#128/365

For this layout I wanted to use one sheet from the Crate Paper range (new) but didnt think it would stretch out over the whole page so I went into my stash into a Maggie Holmes paper pad where there where some grean and aqua ruler strips so I could complete the page.

To add a simple layout grab a paper doily its a quick way to add a layer and they are cheap too.

With a few peieces of chipboard your layout is complete.

If you dont have a lot of paper dont stress why not with some fringing shears cut strips and a tassle away for a quick, effective and cost reducing background. A great way to use some of your left overs as well.

If you try this technique please share your link in the comments or over at the Shop and Crop Inspiration facebook page, we would love to see what you come up with.
