Delightfully Ordinary Moments with Dusty Attic

Good morning how are you? I am here with my second post for the month and it was also inspired by this month Mood board, and this layout is an interactive one with plenty of places to add multiple photos.

I love this style of scrapbooking and it doesnt need to be too hard, like in this case I used an envelope that I had in my stash to build my layers and a quick interactive, open book style layout.

When sticking the title down, I only stuck certain parts eg. the left hand side so I could lift the flap up, I love doing this way as it adds some weight to it to keep the book shut.

Because there is an inside of the book to consider decorating dont be afraid to have a little bit of it showing on the overall layout, like with the chipboard trusses.

To add to my layers of the layout I used refillable tea bags as a natural texture.

Scatter art stones throughout the layers.

Use some of your leftover chipboard..... like the brick wall. I have a little bag in my stash with small pieces that I have cut up from past layouts.... even the negative parts of the chipboard can be used.

Large envelopes are great for booklets and you can even create your own.

To add interest use a Techno Circles Small behind your layers.

Add a little Tim Holtz oxide Sapphire blue to your title to break up the black of your other elements.

I hope this has inspired you to look through your stationary supplies and to give an interactive layout a go.

We would love to see your take on our moodboard.  Don’t forget to share your projects on our Facebook page. Why not enter the Mood Board challenge yourself?
