Discover with Dusty Attic

Good morning how are you all? I am here today with another layout inspired by this months moodboard. How are you going with your entries?

I have to say this moodboard isnt my usual go to and it really got me out out of my comfort zone but the positive is that I had to go into my left over collections, you know those bits and pieces that just get shoved back into the stash for 'one day'....

By doing moodboards it gives you the opportunity to go into different collections and blend them together. And all you need is a little Dusty Attic Chipboard to tie them together.

Chop up your larger paneled chipboard, this will make your stash go further.

Layer, layer your chipboard, make it look like its floating.

I hope you to see you add your entries to the this months moodboard, you still have few days to enter.

Till next time have a creative day

Graduation with Dusty Attic

Good morning how are you? I am here with my take on the NEW Dusty Attic Moodboard challenge !!!!

This one I have to say got me really thinking and hunting through my stash of papers, luckily I was able to bend a few paper collections together and come up with a very dimensional layout.

To start off its all about getting a base layer to work up and over the top with your photos and papers... this is where the larger cog frame sets come into there own.
Now its about building up the height in the photo, using the left over negative chipboard with a bit of glue will help give you a supportive base. I did three layers to achieve the height that I needed.

Next is to add your pattern paper over the top of your photos and also use some flowers to add to the height and bulk out your pattern paper flowers - this works especially well when you only have bits and pieces left over.

The grid chipboard is a great way to show your underlayers plus it allows your art stones to catch with your glitter in clusters.

Add chains and the mini additions all over your layers.

The Heart Attack boarder is great to chop up into smaller pieces and scatter around your layout like confetti.

I hope this inspires you to play with different heights in your layouts.

Till next time have a creative day.
