Inspired - Amy Tangerine

Good morning, I am here today sharing with you a layout I have just done for fun!!! I love my job and I love when I get the odd layout into the mix for '' just because'', these are needed to kick your mojo into overdrive and its great for your soul.

This layout happened after my visit to my local Spotlight store to meet Amy Tangerine for the first time, and to think I almost didnt go..... Why you ask? It was sports carnival day for my son and the time that Amy was here meant I had to leave early..... ahhhhh that pull of being a parent and balancing out your wants and there needs!!! But I made some peace with it my other half was there and taking photos and it allowed my son to fill me in and tell me what he did and was feeling so rather than assuming what I was observing I got to hear from him the actually was going on..... 

I must say Amy Tangerines enthusiasm is contagious and she is so genuine and inspiring.

Good morning, we are about to have some stunning whether here in Western Australia, spring has sprung that is for sure. Last Friday was a busy day here, Sports Carnival and we had a great, intimate meeting with Amy Tangerine (Mandurah Spotlight, there was about 12 people there). After that I felt like I had a mojo boost !!! On Saturday I was very lucky to have a scrap day with my girls, I made a choice not to do design team work.... even though I love it. I decided that it was time to play and have some fun with some challenges.  

I saw this Kraft + challenge come across my Facebook feed a few days before and I had a vision on the Saturday morning about 3 am as you do.... I am sure I am not alone? Whats better than Kraft cardstock? Amy Tangerine Kraft paper of course!!!

Half way through May can you believe it? I used to listen to my own Mother complain about how quick time flies when your older, I used to think she was nuts!!! but as it turns out she wasn't because it does get quicker and its starting to do my head in a little...

 

So with that little rant over its FRIDAYYYYYYYYYYY!!! and that means another sketch is revealed for Inspired Blueprints and if you have been playing along since the relaunch that means you have created 12 layouts! and who can complain about that.

Sunday's Creative twist....

Sundays for me means not a sleep in however a nice leisurely coffee followed by a big breakfast with our family unit then because it has been too hot for far too long, a swim then usually a bit of scrapping or planning some layouts and a bit of catch up before the week starts again....

On these Sunday scrapping days I usually try to figure out how to push the creative envelope, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't and there are times I call in reinforcements usually my family to ask "did that work?'' half the time it is meet with a response of from my oldest ''thats great Mum how many layouts have you done?'' and my second oldest of " that's great I love it" and then hubby pretending to pay some sort of interest......

So my creative push for you today is using Amy Tangerine for a boys layout created for Sassy Scrapper's.....

Amy Tangerine how I love thee.....

The joys of each month is a new surprise in the mail box... my delight is Sassy Scrappers Dt kit and I have to say its the best kit and I always run around the house squealing with childish delight. This month is no exception and I will have alot to share with you as I am currently up to layout number 5 from the kit.....
