Good morning how are you all? Its getting to the crazy time of the year I have been enjoying  the first week of holidays with the kids catching up on some much need sleep and pj days etc... must say dont miss doing the school run and am very happy to be knocked off for this year.....

Cupcakes with Kasiercraft

Good morning how are you all? Today over at the Kaisercraft Blog we are featuring Baby Shower ideas. No doubt you have been in a position like this thinking what can I do to decorate or even as a gift idea and let me tell you the team have some great ideas for you all. 

I decided to do some super quick and effective cupcake holders and cake toppers which double up as a keep sake or if you keep them after you use them you can add them to a tag or a card.

Peek A Boo - with Kasiercraft

Good  morning I here with a little double feature for Kaisercraft ..... either for twins or if your like many of us need to catch up on some of our ever growing photo collections. I love the new Kaisercraft Peek A Boo collection as its can be worked for either boy or girl or in this case both side by side. 

Also its a perfect thing as a gift as this layout is for my friend xxxx

So starting with the girl side.... dont be afraid to cut up the wood grain paper and add a colour background its a great way to add interest without a lot of effort . You could even sew them onto your page if you want to add another layer.  

Dont be afraid to cut up some of your printed papers like on  P2187 Tiny Tot this is where the pram has come from, worth the effect for an effective embellishment for your page.

Layering its the key to tie the two pages together, I used the boarder of P2193 Infant x2 across the two pages as there wasnt something similar in the boy range, not all girl papers are just for girls.

The same print for the boy layout using the pram from P2189 Bundle, layer with one of the neutral stickers from the girl sticker sheet. Add some glossy accent to add some interest.

 Dont forget to add a little wood detail from the FL588 Flourish Pack - Baby also add a board strip for a quick journal strip.
