Good morning how are you? Since we are nearly in the month of August I thought it was a good idea to scrap my daughters Birthday from last year before this years, I cant believe we are here again and my baby girl will be 9 !!!
This years Birthday is hopefully a happier day than last years you can see by the photos my darling girl smashed her teeth 5 days before her Birthday.

With a collection as stunning as this its sometimes hard to think how you can add to it without taking away from it...... this is where a few clustered layers can just enhance the background without taking away from it and the simple is best notion comes into play.
Add some extra fussy cut feathers along and through the dream catcher to help draw your eye down the page past your layers.
When doing layers dont forget to distress the edges with a distress tool to add some instant dimension and interest without a lot of bulk.
Good morning, how are you all? The start of September marks another new challenge for Scrap the Girls and this months challenge is a a lovely sketch, really open to interpretation, and that great for those who love mixed media, pattern paper or all of above, I cant wait to see what you all create. As a bonus I have created a little video tutorial for you as well.
