Good morning how are you? Just trying to find my groove now the kids are at school..... 

Hope everyone had a great, restful holidays, mine was a little bit restful and a lot of fun teaching out at Wise Old Owl.... teaching the kids holiday program ( and big kids at heart as well). 

This holidays theme was all about the Ocean and I have to say it was a lot of fun.....

Scrap the Girls

Good morning, how are you all? The start of September marks another new challenge for Scrap the Girls and this months challenge is a a lovely sketch, really open to interpretation, and that great for those who love mixed media, pattern paper or all of above, I cant wait to see what you all create. As a bonus I have created a little video tutorial for you as well.

Shop and Crop

Good morning how are you all? Another week nearly done and dusted which isnt a bad thing!!! That means this weekend its about getting my scrap on and trying to finish all my dt commitments and get ahead with blogging / Vlogging and all that in tales.... what are you up to this weekend? 

Today I am sharing with Shop and Crops Mixed Media kit, have you got your subscription yet? This is perfect for those who have wanted to branch out into mixed media but arent too sure where to start or those who want to try some new techniques... Scrap the Girls August Reveal

Good morning I am here with Scrap the Girls August challenge reveal, and its a moodboard this month. One of the things I love about moodboard you get to pick what inspires you you dont have to use everything on the board, its about what speaks to you. Do you struggle with moodboards? If so leave a comment and tell me what you struggle with... and I would love to give you some hints and tricks to help you.

My inspiration is fairly self explanatory I firstly always look at the colours.... and look at the colour that features as the majority then I add the complementing colours to add a contrast. Then I look at the images for this instant it was all about the leaves, thats why they are in my background. Next I look to see if I can add other things that feature this time I choose to add some rhinestones like the chandelier crystals. And if I can I will add the title but in this instant I felt it wasnt going to work with the photo. That is how I break down a moodboard......
