Good morning how are you ? I am here for Dusty Attic and I have a very grunge layout for you today based on the the sketch challenge.

Heres is a reminder of what the sketch looks like:

 

So the key to getting the water colour effect is a little patience, with the chipboard being sprayed with white spray paint you need to let it dry naturally and keep building up the colour.

Dont heat with a heat gun, firstly because it gives off a toxic fume and it wont allow the water to get in between layers to give it a weathered effect.

My background layer started with Barb Wire Fence and then I added photos over the top of it.

The next piece added was the Industrial Cluster #1, under the right hand side of the photo.

Now its about using pieces of the Triangle Panel, just use small sections over the background.

To add more depths to the layout, use pieces from Cogs and Gears.

 

Dont forget to add some art stones and of course more paint to tie everything together.

 Good afternoon well late arvo, but at least I have made todays share for the day, I had such a great day yesterday with my scrap girls, and its always a even better day if you get some layouts done as well. So now to photograph and blog them after I give the table a bit of a clean.

Good morning just popping in nice and early before I have a scrappy day with my girls !!!! I am excited that is for sure, its been a while since we did it last so I shall be fun and I am hoping productive as well. Of course there will be more talking than scrapping but thats half the fun isnt it?

Good Times with Friends for Dusty Attic

 Good morning how are you ? I am here today to share this month's Dusty Attic Sketch Challenge  and since I had some of the Moodboard papers on my desk I decided on combining them once again. This sketch works out great if you have little bits of chipboard left over, so the Skeleton Clock I chopped up and had a quarter of it leftover......

The Square Geo is perfect to chop up and scatter around the layout and you will still have leftovers for another layout.

The Vine Boarder is also cut into smaller pieces from a previous layout.

You can layer elements of the Geo Panel to add interest and tie your layers together.

I hope this inspires you to have a play and use all your left over chipboard, till next time,
