ARTastic Guest Designer.....

Good morning how are you all? We are on the final count down to the school holidays ending, everything is ready to go, new uniforms, shoes, books, lunch boxes etc, all the labeling has been done ( to be honest its been done since the end of December), but I am ready to go just dont want to have to do school runs and routines so now I need to prepare myself lol.

I am sharing with you today my layout done for ARTastic Challenge blog, I must say am very honoured to be asked to do this months challenge as guest dt......

ARTastic is a challenge blog with a difference. We find inspiration in works of art.

THE RULES - You don't need to be arty to play along with us - we accept traditional paper, digital, mixed media and off the page creations at any level. International entries are welcome. You may combine with a sketch challenge only - no other combining will be accepted.Please include our inspirational artwork and a link back to ARTastic on your entry and tell us how you were inspired by our artwork.

Our first inspiration for 2017 is this fantastic painting by Ken Done called Sydney Night.

I loved this painting , the black with the pops of vibrant colour, this is what I tried to recreate with shimmers and texture paste for my background and of course you need a little pop of gold.

Shop and Crop

Good morning how are you all? Another week nearly done and dusted which isnt a bad thing!!! That means this weekend its about getting my scrap on and trying to finish all my dt commitments and get ahead with blogging / Vlogging and all that in tales.... what are you up to this weekend? 

Today I am sharing with Shop and Crops Mixed Media kit, have you got your subscription yet? This is perfect for those who have wanted to branch out into mixed media but arent too sure where to start or those who want to try some new techniques... Better still each month you will get step by step instructions (with photos) on how to create a new layout and each month you will get a  new Design Team member to be your teacher, whats better than that?
