Oh So Happy with CUT to YOU

Good Morning how are you? I am here to share with you a layout for CUT to YOU using  a little bit of gold .... well gold foil that is.

And who doesnt love a bit of bling in there lives?

#158/365

So to start off the cardstock that I used is the big poster board style you would use for kids projects, all you do is cut it down to the 12x12 size, so out of one piece you will get two 12x12 and two A4 sizes which are get for you titles.

So when you use the CUT to YOU Spring Moon dont forget to add your title into the negative space, you dont want to waste any of the gold goodness.

Now onto the title, one of the things I am trying to get into the habit of is to cut a number of the same titles in varying sizes and colours and then having a file for when I get creating, for my I am more likely to use the files if they are cut in advance, rather than do them as I need them.

How do you store your files?

 Any ideas?

To file in the CUT to YOU ''Oh So Happy'' title I love using little left over bits on my desk, once filled in it helps hide the foam tape that I want to use to mount the moon up, I have to get a little bit creative when using vellum and creating layers.

And So The Adventure Begins.....

Hi how are you going? I did really try to complete the  last challenge for Mintays International Scrapbooking day but unfortunately I took too much time fiddling around. But thats ok, the point is to create and have fun and see where the creative process takes you.

Ok onto the next challenge but I fear that I might run out of time sharing it on the Mintay Inspo group but that doesnt matter its all about getting more layouts done and more inspiration.

Till tomorrow have a creative day

Theres always time for a glass of wine

Hi how are you? I am here with another layout using the amazing Mintay Nightfall collection.

I love this collections something about the moon and the intense colours that just captured me and it was enough to buy two sets.

Have you brought two sets of things you like, or am I the only one?

Remember I am scrapping it and will add photos later.

Fly me to the Moon

Good morning how are you? Yes you spy a layout without a photo.... I know I usually dont do this but I have been hoarding these papers forever and that means finding the perfect photos, but rather wait for those, the idea is to scrap them and add photos at a later date.

Do you think this is a good idea?

Reach for the Stars- Mintay Nightfall Process Video - for Craft on the Run

Good Morning how are you? I am here with my second tutorial for Mintay month at Craft on the Run.... How are you liking the tutorials so far? Feel like you can acheive something with these papers now?

We all love Mintay Papers but often they are so stunning that sometimes we dont know what to do with them, so the Craft on the Run Design Team is here to help with how they approach these collections so you have the confidence to use these papers.

As an added bonus and to encourage you to play along and give these tutorials a go we are doing a Mintay Giveaway...

Create a project based on any of the tutorials and share in the group/album telling us which tutorial you used and you go in the draw to win some stunning Mintay Papers.

Your creations must be based on the Design Team tutorials.

What do you think?

Want to give it a go?

If you are ready to share follow the link below and add your creation in the album.

So heres a process video so you can follow along if you want to recreate this layout:

When looking at papers like this I like to see if halving the pattern will help it be less complicated.....
I know fussy cutting doesnt seem to be less complicated but it can help you add a smaller portion of details to a simpler background.

Remember a great pair of scissors and a scapula are you best friends

A great washi tape can add an informal board to the bottom of the page and adding a little chipboard title can act as a journal strip.

Adding simple embellishments like there's Uniquely Creative Stars help add some interest without over whelming the page.
