Crab Fest Interactive Layout for Craft On the Run

 Good morning how are you?I am here today for Craft on the Run as we are show casing this month Multiple photo layouts. Hopefully its inspiring you all to get a little bit creative with featuring more than one photo per page.

Today I am here with an interactive layout- one of my favourite things to do when you have event style photos.... rather than have multiple layouts - what about a fold out booklet style page?

 Interested? I have a little flip through video to show you with the final product and a little step by step tutorial on how to start this type of layout with the first triple page spread and then how to have some fun making booklets to slide in and show case your photos.

Heres the little flip though video so you get an idea on what you can achieve....

Step 1: Mount your background pattern paper onto cardstock.... 

I know this sounds like a wasteful step but its a must to handle the weight of your layout.

Step 2: Cut 2 plain cardstock to the measurement of 12''x10 1/2'' then score one edge of both pages at the 1 1/3'' line.

Step 3:Stick cardstock #1 (with the score line to flip out to the left) 1/2'' from the background pattern paper making sure its equal spacing from the top and the bottom.

Step 4: Repeat the above step on the Right Hand Side now you should have 2 ''doors'' and a gap in the middle.

Step 5: Cover the inside center with a pattern paper this will also hide your hinges and add much needed strength as well.

Step 6: Now you need to cover all the cardstock with pattern paper and leave a small boarder if you like.

This is the first booklet completed, now you can make different size ones for the inside as you need them, you can get ideas from the flip through video also in the photos.

Perfect Ocean Views - with Craft on the Run

Good morning how are you ? Rikki here today with multiple photo layout with just 2 little wallet size photos. If your anything like me you will have a few of these kicking around your photo stash and you will pull them out and put them away as soon as you try and work with them on a page. 

I often like using them as supporting photos to a large one or as a dynamic, negative spaced layout, but then end up with so many left overs that I just dont know how to use them all up.

I often feel like its a waste of a good 12x12 piece of paper just to use 1 photo, so I am here today to share with you how to use a couple of smaller photos to complete a fun layout.

The effect on the title looking a little bit watery- its really simple to achieve ..... use you spray can white, make it think and then leave it for 5mins once its tacky hit it with a heat gun and the you will get this blown bubble effect.

Please do this in a well ventilated area and stop if you feel dizzy.

Add real sea shells and some art stones- they will help hide any extra glue.

So why dont you set yourself a challenge by using bits and pieces and a couple of wallet size photos.

Shop and Crop Bonus Process Video

Good Morning how are you all? Nearly the end of the month.... but there is still plenty of things to share with you before that happens. Today I am sharing with you another layout using Shop and Crops monthly Cropaholic kit , this makes layout #5 out of the kit..... isnt that great value.

This layout is great for those who want an interactive page and those who love adding more than one photo on the page. Also I have a little bonus for you with a video tutorial for those who want to give this layout a go. If you do share your link of your project I would love to see what you create.

Shop and Crop

Good morning how are you all going? I am here today with a layout for this months Shop and Crop Cropaholic kit which includes 3 step by steps (photos as well) instructions and there are plenty of leftovers to boot.

So I am sharing with you one of the ''leftover'' layouts today. Next week stay tuned I will have a process video for you showing how to get multiple photos on one layout, in a booklet style page.
