Lost......

Good morning, I must say kid free is a funny feeling isnt it day 4 without any one home means I often find myself lost on what to do and I often wonder around the house half the morning wondering what I will do during the day, once I figure that out then its lunch.... then mojo hits me all when its time to pick up the kids again. That only means that crazy hour will be upon me and then I totally forget or nor have the desire to continue.....  then clue groundhog day for tomorrow....

Am I the only one?

Self inflicted - challenges

Good morning, how are you all? I at the moment have set myself a little challenge apart for 365 layouts this year. I am going to use a range of pattern paper till its gone or near enough gone, anyone who knows me knows I have a healthy supply of pattern papers varying in ranges and with those ranges all the bits that go with it.... 

Normally I would scrap a layout maybe two and then shelve it. Which means that it is always in my stash and to be perfectly honest because I still buy more papers, it will live there for years and years to come. So this is my challenge I will do multiple layouts with a range, more than 2 on average 5 anything more a bonus, this also works well with the 365 challenge. Less time getting everything out!!!. 

So sorry if you feel that when you log into my blog its all one note, I promise you its not me being lazy and that I really do want to show case all that you can do with a range. You might have noticed in my last post I have been using the We R Memory Keepers - Crush range, I must say when I saw it I was worried that it wouldn't be too versatile as it is all love related and when you think of that you think lovely dovey pictures (well maybe that''s me). I was worried as I dont often take photos of myself and hubby this was going to be a problem. But as I started working I realized that this is an awesome, versatile range of papers and embellishments made for both male and female. 

This just proves dont judge a book by its cover!!!

What to do????

Good morning, how are you all going? Well the kids are back to school and I for the first time in a very long time am now home alone for 6 hrs a day for 5 days of the week!!! 

How did that happen???

What do I do???

Refocus !!!!!!!

Good morning, I know its been quite here, I have been going through some upheaval when it comes to my scrapping commitments. 

This industry is a funny little thing especially when it comes to behind the scenes things, and the time it takes to do them, then of course theirs an knock on effect that flowing into family life, friendships and also to your creativity. There comes a point when the balance is thrown off and sometime you get overly invested, this I can say happened to me.

At the start of the year I picked my little word.... 

I need to allow this word to work for me and that means some readjustment and some focus out of what I want to do with my creative life. And if I invest to much time with others that doesnt allow myself a lot of time to do my dreams and goals. If I work this hard for others its time to work this hard for myself!!! 

So to kick off the new creative part of my life, heres a layout I did for the Top 50 Challenge (yes a layout for fun!!!), nothing like loading it close to the deadline I will work on that....

Scrapping Clearly

Good morning I am here today for Scrapping Clearly with what should be my layout based on this months mood board, however I was very lucky to receive from the boss some new We R Memory Keepers Fuse - able goodies to play with.

We R Memory Keepers – FUSEables Collection – Card Kit – Collections

A few thing I do love about this kit it allowed me to create 10 cards in an hour, including the fancy shaker ones. All that you need is in the kit so no hunting around looking for sequins, bags, glue, and envelopes.

Also I want to add a disclaimer in here at this point; this honestly is my 2 time using my Fuse and I must say I struggled with getting the wheel turning, till the very last card- angle your Fuse on a 45 degree angle ( of course me being slow would only figure that out then!!!)

 A few other things is I am now the proud new owner of the We R Memory Keepers glass mat...... which I love love love , beyond words!!! I love the grid, I love the non slip feet for it!!! Its sturdy!!! and it does help the Fuse wheel.  

So all in all I think after some practice I will have these cards and all the Fuseable !!!!!
