Just Because - with Cherish the Memory

Good morning how are you all? We are officially back into the school routine and I have to say it has slowed the mojo , missing the fact that in the holidays I created 29 layouts in the two weeks off, I need to do that more often, it really was great to achieve that goal and I have to say it has helped the old 365 layout a day tally..... and it means I definitely will be smash last years record of 133.....

Today I am sharing with you a beautiful an girly layout..... and the background pattern paper was all created using just a 6x6 paper pad with is great if you wonder what to do with your paper pads when you scrap 12x12....

Beautiful - Kaisercraft Daydreamer Collection

Good Morning how are you all? I am here today with my monthly share and a video tutorial as well, using the stunning new Kaisercraft Daydreamer.

Today I am sharing a little bit of mixed media focusing on using your stamps, if your anything like me I have a lot of stamps but always forget to use them in my layouts.

Dont be afraid to mix and match your texture stamps !!! I dont mount them to an acrylic block as I want them not to be a perfect image this allows me to roll the stamp as I add it to the background, leaving an image that can be blended with other stamps.

Template Fun with Kasiercraft

Good morning, how are you all? Today I am sharing another layout using the stunning Ubud Dreams by Kaisercraft. Today its all about adding a little texture and layers with the help of the new Kaisercraft Templates....

Its my favourite thing to add to a layout, especially when I want it to catch some mists and add a little interest under my layers.

Merry and Bright with Kaisercraft

Good Morning I am here today to show you the new Kaisercraft Christmas range - Silent Night. 

This range is perfect for those who love traditional Christmas colour, embellishments, and the rich tones that you think of when you think about Christmas.

When I created this layout I was really drawn to the rich wood grain paper and I knew straight away that it could handle a mixed media background.

When I created this layout I was really drawn to the rich wood grain paper and I knew straight away that it could handle a mixed media background.

To create the background I just swiped some white gesso where I wanted the photo to go, added a little texture with IT914 | Designer Template - Grunge, allowed that to dry. Then added my two background colours of KM117 | Apple and KM104 | Lime Green - try and allow naturally as this allows the green tones to stay to the surface. 

I love the FL583 | Flourish Pack - Joy, it comes with Pine Tree Sprigs they can be altered with your standard stamping ink, I used a combination of Kaisercraft Ink IP733 | Vine and IP730 | Avocado making it two toned. Then they are just added among your flower clusters.

         The same technique was applied to the FL583 |Flourish Pack - Joy's Acorns using                                                 Kaisercraft Ink -  IP724 | Bark  and IP722 | Red Gum.
