Mindful

Hi how is everyone going? I here today to  share another one of the... well I suppose you can call it a series, using colouring sheet background and black and white stamped images.

I love this style of art journal because you really can play with the background and go nuts with your colours and stencils then ground it with your black and white images.

And by adding a little black drop shadows you can blend the bright with the dark.

If your interested in learning this style of art journal (Western Australian based) pop me a message on my facebook page here

Good morning.... Theres nothing like using the last of your your bits and pieces of collections - my mission this year is to clear stuff from my stash and to keep my collections under control.

That way I wont feel bad that I have all this paper and then wont us it. This layout was the last of the collection and it made 7 layouts and some of the tags/ leftovers where forward to a friend so she can create a  new layout with = no more leftovers and no waste.

Scrapmatts - Soft and Feminine

Good morning how are you all? I  am here with my first share of the month for Scrapmatts Chipboard and I have to say the work is polar opposites this month with something soft and delicate and feminine and something for those who love something industrial !!!! This is why I love working with chipboard you can have the best of both worlds ....

So to kick it off here is the soft, feminine.....

Using white ink through a stencil is a great way to add a little dimension to your background...
