Good morning how are you just a quick pop in before I give the scrap room a little clean before I start another layout. I am one to have a clean area before I start another layout I hate a cluttered desk it makes my mind cluttered too. 

Am I the only one?

Unscripted Life with Dusty Attic

Good morning how are you? I am here today with the always amazing Dusty Attic Chipboard. And today its time to get my steam punk on!!! And if you follow on for the next post later in the month I will have a step by step on how to achieve the feminine version of this layout. 

This layout also was inspired by the NEW Moodboard!!! Why dont you give it a go?

This is my favourite style of layout its all about using a lot of different layers and just up bits and pieces, those bit we cant bare to part with and then think what am I going to do with them?

The one thing I love about the NEW Industrial Cluster #8 is that there are plenty of options- either stack the parts on the main cluster or use elements throughout your layout so you can get plenty of bang for your buck, that is for sure !!!

Want to add some interest in the background but dont want it to over whelm the back ground? Why not use the Brick Wall Stencil and draw elements on the page with a lead pencil?

Remember to tune back in at the end of the month for a tutorial of the feminine version of this layout.

Holiday Vibes with Craft on the Run

So with Stamperia month happening over at Craft on the Run I thought I would share another layout using the amazing Ocean Romance gosh this collection is really effortless to play with and I hope you have the same feelings to playing with any Stamperia Collections....

           

Deconstruct your wood panels, and use a distress tool on the edges. Now its about reconstructing the pattern paper on some navy cardstock.

Dont stick the edges down, add your tape to the center of the strips that way you can curl the edges and give you a little peak of the cardstock though those layers.

Add some chipboard, spray paint with white and your title is all ready to go.

Loving the Outdoors

 Good morning Rikki here for Dusty Attic and continuing from my last post its all about Summer Vibes and something a bit brighter and girly.

So it all started with the background, one of my most favourite mediums is Tim Holtz Ocides, why? Its one of the easiest inks to use so for this background its just colours swiped on the pages and then hit with water after.  

So with these inks you really dont have to worry about the colours clashing and making ''mud'' colours, just make sure each colour is dry before you swipe the next colour over the top. 

Once you are happy with that result then hit it with a little water .....

With such a colourful background the best way to treat the chipboard is to just spray it white and then thats it, it showcases your background and it makes the chippy pop !!!

Dont you love this title? I love that you can layer components of it.
