Scrap mad?

Good morning , how are you all? Still school holidays and trying get as much scrapping done with that comes the steady flow of blogging and sharing on facebook and trying to You Tube as well so sorry if its annoying but deadline loom as always, and if I can just get some challenges done during the month thats an added bonus. 

I often use sketches when I just want to scrap, it awakes my mojo and allows me to work with whatever is on my desk at the time. This is why I was so happy when Creative Scrappers started again with there sketches!!!

Rainbow Spendour July Challenge

Good Morning, how are you all? All I can say at the moment its frigging cold and I am loving it !!! I love this time of year something about my creativity just flows in this season  probably cause my brain isn't melting in the heat and I also don't feel too guilty about staying in when the weather is wild like it was over the last couple of days!!!

So with this creativity comes the need to do more layouts and sometimes you need a challenge or two to get that going..... today I am sharing with you a perfect little sketch to get you going.

Scrappingclearly Moodboard reveal

Good Morning I am here today to share with you my take in this months Scrapping Clearly Moodboard challenge, and what a challenge it was well at least for me.... but thats the whole point right?  I must say I do love board itself I was so proud of it when I created it for the design team, it might be a case of intimation maybe??? 

To make it eaiser on myself, I chose 2 of the main colours (teal and navy), a cream wood pattern piece of paper and I love the rope.... and went with a nautical style layout.

Add water to your page before you paint on the Heidi Swapp Colorshine it will allow more of a free flowing watercolour technique. 

I love the clear embellishments that you get in the Pink Paislee Atlas Ephemera pack.

For long flicks of white gesso, just water it down a bit and use a large flat tipped paint brush.
