Secret Garden for Bee Arty

Good afternoon how are you? Here in the West the weather has been getting a bit wild and cold oh so cold but that gives you the perfect excuse to play along with this months Bee Arty Sketch and Moodboard challenge.

 

So heres my take on the colours of the challenge and I have to say the combo had me scratching my head a little bit...but I am very happy with the result.

And theres a process video for you to follow along with.

 Use the Bee Arty Honeycomb Spray Stencil with Tim Holtz Oxide- Fossilized Amber, Faded Jeans and Blueprint Sketch.

Ghost the background with Bee Arty Bokeh Stamp set - Script with Grey ink.

With black archival ink stamp scrolls with Bee Arty Vamp Stamp set.

Add the Bee Arty Kind Heart Stamp set to the right hand side.

Add the title from that set throughout the background.

Add washi tapes into the background and finish off with flicking white ink throughout the background.

If you think...... with Dusty Attic

Good morning how are you? Theres nothing like a little cold weather to get creating, and just to play around in my studio, with a hot cup of coffee or two.  With that in mind why dont you give the Dusty Attic Moodboard a go and why wouldnt you want to?

Dusty Attic Chipboard - Mandala, Ornate Circle Frames, Elegant Chain, Title.

The way I started was give all the chipboard a spray with white spray paint. Once it was dry add a photo to the ornate frame.

Foam mount the mandala to the centre of the page, alternatively use the out side of the chipboard cut out and glue it to give you layers..... its the perfect way to save some money on foam tape and help cut down your waste.

 Also the money you save on the tape means you can buy more Dusty Chipboard right ?

Add the photo to the centre of the mandala, also using some left over chipboard to add some height.... Then add the elegant chain to the base of the frame also mounting to add some layers between the two pieces.

I added some rubons to the background to make a little Ombre effect.

Then added the title to the left hand side.

Now its all about the finishing touches, some acetate leaves and some leave rubons.

To complete the look I added a lot of rhinestones throughout the background.

Oh So Happy with CUT to YOU

 Good Morning how are you? I am here to share with you a layout for CUT to YOU using  a little bit of gold .... well gold foil that is. 

 And who doesnt love a bit of bling in there lives?

So to start off the cardstock that I used is the big poster board style you would use for kids projects, all you do is cut it down to the 12x12 size, so out of one piece you will get two 12x12 and two A4 sizes which are get for you titles.

So when you use the CUT to YOU Spring Moon dont forget to add your title into the negative space, you dont want to waste any of the gold goodness.

Now onto the title, one of the things I am trying to get into the habit of is to cut a number of the same titles in varying sizes and colours and then having a file for when I get creating, for my I am more likely to use the files if they are cut in advance, rather than do them as I need them.

How do you store your files?

 Any ideas?

To file in the CUT to YOU ''Oh So Happy'' title I love using little left over bits on my desk, once filled in it helps hide the foam tape that I want to use to mount the moon up, I have to get a little bit creative when using vellum and creating layers.

Everyday Moments

 Good evening just popping in with a super quick layout and its not always about doing layouts that take 100 hrs so this is a post for you. Its a basic layout using some leftover pieces.....

Good evening, how are you? I wasnt going to share this layout as I still havent got the right photos but then I thought about it, the layout is created and therefore should be shared, as I will add photos later, this is really using the last bits and pieces and also including the 26 fussy cut butterflies, I am so happy with how this layout ended up.
