Molossi

Good Morning all,  for a late Friday post for Molossi , the weather has been a bit wild here over in Western Australia, not that I am complaining..... its nice to have rain and a lot of rain for a change, mind you could do with less of the winds. So now that the weather has fined up to take pictures, I can share with you something that is a first for me, so please be gentle.....

I have done my first Project Life pages...... I have decided only to use this system for events like, Birthdays, Easter, Christmas, Sport Carnivals and Road Trips. I always take 100's of pictures of these events then only pick one or two to scrap, but it doesn't show the whole days events.

So being brave I decided it was time to see what people are going on about. I am starting to understand its a lot of fun, but the one thing that they dont tell you about is all the planning involved. So if any of you seasoned Project lifers are out there, please I am begging you to share your tips and tricks.

And if you would like to see more Project Life shares please let Molossi know on there blog they would love to hear from you ......

  1. I haven't tried Project Life yet either but have watched several UTube & Paperclipping videos about it ... not sure if I can get into it but might give it a go as I have a few albums that may take the PL pages ... How did you find it, compared to actual scrapbooking Rikki - did it seem like you were 'scrapbooking' or just shoving photos in one of the old plastic albums?? I know the new albums are photo safe but as at 60+yrs old I still remember the old plastic sleeve albums everyone said were horrid for your photos ..LOL!!

    1. Lol I had my baby album in one of those type albums.... the glue would stain your photos. I am always going to be a traditional scrapper with layouts first, this is great for events. I dont know if I would do it for everyday. It started to ''feel like scrapbooking'' when I started to customize the sleeves and adding my scrapbooking bits. It has reminded to journal more. I do do it but dont often add it in to the design so it looks like an after thought
