Shop and Crop - leftover layout

Good morning, I am here for the Shop and Crop today, and today is all about stash busting and how to use some of your older products with some new ones...... this is something I like to do from time to time, it works really well when your trying to be good and not spend.

Also its great because I have a tray on my desk which I keep some odds and ends like some bits left over from the Shop and Crop kits. So if your like me this is the layout for you.

I was given the Lindy's Stamp Gang - Little Lindy - Try Me Set - Tiffany's Blue set to try and as the months have gotten away from me I forgot about them , but I remember and they are really easy to use, I laid down my gold mist first allowed that to dry and then misted water directly on the page.... where I wanted the blue to go.

The Lindy's Stamp Gang powders are great to sprinkle directly onto the mist water , just sprinkle and your done.....

Dont forget to use your stencils, just trace around some objects with a lead pencil to add interest on your background, even scribble a circle before you stick your layers down.

Washi tape is another great thing to have handy, a simple grid really works on a plain background.

Another handy hint is keep your pizza box that your kits /orders come in you can cut up the card and use them in between your layers to give yourself some dimension....

Good morning how are you all? What do you think of the new Kaisercraft Ohh La La range? I am loving it with the punches of coral with some duck egg blue contrasting with the whites and creams. 

Today I am sharing with you another layout using this range, this time the Design Team was given a little challenge of show casing this range with flowers!!! Who doesnt like a little bit of floral work on there page.

Rusty Goodness!!!!!

Good morning how are you? My second layout for the month for Scrapmatts, is something a little bit different for my style, but I am obsessed with this finish!!! While Scrapmatts where over in Western Australia, I got to demo after the demo was able to have a little play out the back, I have been waiting to play with these new rust paints forever and this was a perfect opportunity to try them out on some chipboard.

Good morning how are you all? I am very excited to share with you my first ever official video tutorial for Kasiercraft!!!! 

This month we have been sharing with you the stunning Glisten collection and the very elegant Ohh La La. The team have shared some stunning layout dont you think?  

When I get a new range I look for certain things to do with it , say a piece has some things to fussy cut I set that aside and do it while watching tv at night. Then I look for a piece that I can work some mixed media magic on to build up my background for layering, I go for the richer piece, ones which can handle some stamping, inking and texture pastes.....

To give your layout a little 3 D effect, double up your Collectables and Stamps, like with the butterfly..... stamp your butterfly on your background then with a little foam mount add your butterfly collectable over the top of it.

Dont be afraid to keep adding to the background with your Kaisercraft Texture Stamps if you keep them off the acrylic block it gives the image a more random effect.

Shop and Crop bonus layout......

Good morning I am here today to show you how to use ever bit of your Shop and Crop Crop kit for October, this is something that I often try to make sure I do, as I am really trying not to add to my ever growing stash..... and lets face it if you have your kit out why not keep going? 

The only thing that I added to this layout is some vellum from my stash and thats good because I am using what I have...... if you dont have vellum you can skip this layer or, you could try and use some baking paper.... it would give you that sheer look without buying anything new.

The Hooray layer is from your packaging on the acrylic shapes..... why throw it out when is so pretty....
