Peace - With Annas Craft Cupboard

Good morning I am here today with another layout using the stunning Alexandra Renke - Magic Flower Collection for Annas Craft Cupboard. Today I am looking at Embossing Powders and how they can be added to create a stunning mixed media background and hopefully you will be inspired to pull out your old stamps and give it a go.

#117 /365

So why use Embossing Powder?  Hmmm apart from its pretty and glossy.  It is a permanent medium that resists any other medium and it is activated by heat. So its perfect for creating your own background and making your own resist style papers. It comes in a range of colours, brands and styles.

I have chosen gold for my background but you could use clear..... if you did that you could have a transparent background - another step further would be - to remove the powder off with an iron and computer paper after you have finished with your mist - to remove the shine of the powder.

Let me know in the comments if you have tried this technique.....

Till next time have a creative day
