Sketchabilities #123

Good morning, how are you all? Same old same old here, have been suffering from a lack of mojo for awhile now and its been a struggle but as long as it doesnt last as long as the last bout.... 2 years!!! I think I am doing ok..... its only been a month. First world problems. For those who are suffering the same Sketchabilities  is just the perfect thing to remedy this with sketch #123 .

7 Dots Studio August - September Challenge

Well in the desire to wake up my mojo I decided to try a new challenge and  finally use my beautiful 7 Dots Studio papers rather than hoard them!!! So what is better than enter into the August- September Challenge? 

This is all about your 5 senses........ So I focused hearing, touch and sight;  I especially when creating listen to a lot of music its a big part of my life, this is why I have a guitar on the page and its perfect for the title of the layout. Touch well no need to explain there ;) and sight for me  on this page its the vibrant colours and lets face it to create we need it.

Scrap Around the World September Challenge

It been awhile since I have played along with Scrap Around The World.... not by choice just be time always running out so this month I decided to get in there early and create way. This month mood board really got me thinking it was created by  Amy Voorthuis.

As you can see by my layout the thing that spoke to me was the steam punk heart. I just love the gears and the layering of the metal.

I added the believe light bulb, because the saying on the board is all about belief and believing. 

I took inspiration on the colours, the purples, the yellows and the browns throughout the board, I just made them more vibrant.

Also I took inspiration from the gold designs on the books.

Hi how are you going? suffering lack of mojo and motivation of late and figured I needed some challenges to try and get out of the funk, so over the next couple of weeks you should see some of this over the blog.... got to fake it till I make it!!!

So today's share is for The Scrap Store Septembers sketch challenge. It worked out perfectly because I just love these Webster's Strawberry fields papers.

Scrap the Girls - September reveal

Feeling very humble at the moment, and thankful, how good is the new Scrap the Girls design team? and what a reveal for our first post for the new team... Well hopefully we wont disappoint this month, this month we are revealing a sketch challenge for you. I am a huge fan of sketches, especially in times when your lacking mojo or a little time poor.  So why dont you give it a go?

I knew straight away what photos I wanted to do for this sketch and I also wanted to have a little play with gelatos, which I am new to.... I know they have been around for awhile but I have been fighting the urge to buy then and a very generous friend decided that she would be the one to push me that direction with a RAK of some gelatos. Now I am totally addicted and need them all!!!!

Scrap the Boy September Reveal

Good Morning, another reveal day here, this time for Scrap the Boys. This month its all about the domesticated male, catching them in the act doing something that isnt considered a male act. Well if you anything like me, my ''boys'' in my life are very domesticated but I havent caught it on film though, so this was a perfect opportunity to do so and I love the result.

White with 1 September Reveal

Oh my word its September!!!! Today I am sharing with you White with 1's new colour and it just makes me want to get a hot chocolate and eat some Marshmallows. This month the creative team was very lucky, we received some yummy goodies from Rainbow Splendour.
