Rainbow Splendour Mays Scraplift month

Over at Rainbow Splendour this month we have decided as a DT to scrap lift each other.....

Today I thought I would share my first scrap lift and nothing more imitating than lifting the boss lady!!! But I managed and have lived to tell the tale, on a side note it was a fun one to do.

The reason that I chose this layout was Chloe has one of the best misting techniques I have seen when it comes to a start burst template.

Heres a little sneak of the original layout to see the whole thing just follow the link:

My favourite RBS go to at the moment is the glitter butterflies, I just cant get enough of them.

My second NEW favourite thing is the Rainbow Pretty Pins!!! They are an elegant finishing touch, which you cant go past, so keep an eye out for these at the next sale they wont last long....

So that is all from me today, the question is do your think the boss will be happy?

Christmas Elegance

Morning, sometimes you find yourself thinking outside the box and this is one of those times for sure, as I dont normally do metallic flowers on my layouts, I wanted to show case them in a way that did them justice when I received them in my Molossi Design Team kit.

So knowing nothing is more elegant than black, white and silver, I thought it would be a  great way to showcase these elegant Manorhouse flowers and turn them into Christmas baubles.

Scrap Around the World April Mood Board

Today I wanted to share with you this months Scrap Around the World Aprils mood board challenge. This stunning board was created by Riikka Kovasin. As soon as I saw this board I knew exactly what I wanted to do and these moments of thought are very rare !!!

"Dont over think, just let it go''
MME pp, Unity Butterfly stamp, Dylusions, Basic Grey alphas
Scrap FX chipboard.

I took influence from the vibrant butterflies. I stamped all the butterflies and did some fussy cutting, to help create multiple layers. I used Dylusions to make them vibrant.

The circle chipboard mimics the center of the quote in the trunk. The wood pattern paper also reflects that image as well the cracked image.

The quote for me was perfect for the photo, my boys. Getting them to take a great photo is hard, they tend to put on false smiles, which makes them look tense, but if you get them distracted with other things, you get great photos.

I hope you like my interpretation of this month mood board, you still have time to enter... so why not give Scrap Around the World's April board a go?

Heart Strings

Good Morning how are you on this fine  Friday, week one of the holidays is nearly over.... maybe flying by too quick but it has allowed me to get a lot of creating time in and also some time spent scrapping my youngest son., just Project Life things for him.

Today I thought I would share with you one of my travel photos from the time I went to Italy in 1996. I havent done a lot with the album as I want to do it justice and it dont have all the negatives any more. I want to head back there, its on my bucket list, for sure. These photos for me really pull on the heart stings.

So if you want some tricks and tips on how to use more than one large flower on your layouts why dont you pop over to the Molossi blog and see how its done and to see what the rest of the team has been up to over the week.
