Made with Memories and Scrapbook Savvy Cyber Challenge...

So today I would thought I would share with you a layout that I recently completed for Scrapbook Savvy's Cyber Crop, and it was the perfect inspiration that I needed for my Made with Memories design team kit.

 

I have always wanted to try the minimalist style of scrapping and always go to start then add more things, then it blows out to a stunning layout but never a minimalist one.... so the guidelines where set... what do you think?

Made With Memories....

When I got my kit from Made with Memories I knew instantly what photo would be perfect for this range....

 

 I have been currently doing some of my grandparents photos as a gift for my Mother. The biggest difficulty for me is when I do these photos I want to do them justice... do you have photos that you worry about? when you start creating your layouts.... and do you have any tips that might help?

From time to time I love to do something different and that in this particular case is to sew and not just sew I thought why not sew in a circle.... easy right hmmmmm I have enough trouble sewing a straight line lol well I cant say I did a great job ( don't look too close) but I am happy about the overall layout and the little clusters.

 

 And of course the stunning paper by Maggie Holmes. So if you haven't gone to grab some of this paper why don't you go and grab some from Made with Memories...

Have you ever had a range of paper that has been "I must use it straight away" well this has been the case with my DT kit from Made with Memories....

I am in love with this range by Crate Paper and Maggie Holmes and its fast becoming my go to range at the moment  and I am also very proud that I can swing the range in either boy or girl for my layouts. On those rare occasions there are moments where the range is seen to be made for your photos......

Its Friday that must mean another reveal for Inspired Blueprints, I must say I was very inspired by the tags in this sketch. It seems to be my thing that I like to change the sketch a little bit but that is what is great with the site its all up to you and your interpretation....

 

I was given Crate Paper's Maggie Holmes paper for Made with Memories Dt this month and i really wanted to push the envelope with its application..... as it is made mostly for girls. As soon as I saw that paper I knew that my Bokeh light photo would be perfect.

Arty

The past couple of weeks I have been feeling arty... So I have been exploring different techniques and finally I have been using different products... no longer holding onto them because you cant or might not be able to get them again.... do you find that you do that? and if so what product is it?

I was very lucky this month to receive the Kaisercraft Basecoat collection from Made With Memories, I thought great a blank canvas to do my "arty" stuff but then I remembered I have to show case the papers and because it doesn't come with any embellishments what was I going to do.... well here's one of the results..... What do you think?

Hit or Miss?

Wow half way through February already !!! its really bittersweet I think... on a positive side hopefully this means we are getting closer to the cooler weather and some rain, I love winter and the potential to photograph some nice beach scenes. On the negative side that means Easter is around the corner and that means the made dash to make Easter hats don't get me wrong I making them with the kids and running though ideas etc but its just too early to think of it, I don't even live seeing the Hot Cross buns at the shops with Easter eggs.... but enough of the ranting...

I was given Kaisercraft Class Act as apart of my Made With Memories DT kit this month and it got me thinking of all the school/class photos that have been just shoved into a box " the I will get to it"one....

So rather than do the typical school layout I thought I would try something different. So what do you think? all the papers are the Kaisercraft Class act (with the exception of the background piece).

Iphone and Made with Memories????

I am new to the iPhone world.... I can hear people gasp.... I know shocking I was one of those people for years that said I don't need an iPhone.... whats the big deal about it?  Well I stand here in front of you converted and ashamed of my above comments..... I love my iPhone I don't know how I ever lived without it especially with Hipstamtic and Instagram..... 

It has been great to play with these apps and even more fun to scrapping the photos.

First layout for the New Year for Made with Memories

My first post in the New Year for Made With Memories, and I must say I was a little bit excited about playing with the new range that they had brought into the shop and when you see it you will feel the same.

I have had this photo in my stash for awhile, and have been a bit afraid to do anything with it because I love the photo and I do mean LOVE, I worried if I every would have the right paper? , what embellishments do you put with it? these where questions that would go unanswered for under 2 years.

 Am I alone out there with this dilemma or have you had this trouble? and have you gotten past it? or is it still in a box waiting to find the perfect scrapping supplies?

Ok the other day I was telling you that I did 5 layouts for Made with Memories, I thought it was time to share some of them since it is already the 12th October !!!!! Christmas is sneaking up on us argggghhhhhh!!!

I must say when I got this range for my design team pack Butterfly Kisses by Kaisercraft I was a little scared, as people who know me know I don't often do purple, not keen on it and usually avoid it the best I can, and I know I have a girl but still, another thing I try to avoid is Barbie pink so imagine my reaction to this!!!

But I stand before you a changed woman, I loved working with this colour combo..... you wont see me all the time work with it but I LOVE this range.

I was very lucky for my design team pack to get the new Crate paper Bo peep range, and you might think that its just for babies and little girls but I set myself a challenge to use the range for something else....

I have been very busy creating I must say and this has suprised me considering it is school holidays, but that being said I have been creating for Made With Memories DT using Kaisercraft Technologic range and I must say its is the perfect boy range and it has been alot of fun creating with it. It has been awhile since I have posted I have been busy creating as you can image with 3 different DT's, its a juggling act...... but I love the fact that I get to play with totally different products. Sawyer's Place is now branching out to local scrapbooking shops, and I am very lucky that Made With Memories now stock their washi tapes and it works out perfectly 'hand in hand'. so that being said here are some creatings using Sawyers Place washi tape and Made with Memories DT papers.

Made With Memories DT.....

This months Made with Memories DT kit was fun, we where allowed to choose whatever paper range out of the shop and so many choices I decided to use Crate Paper; Paper Hearts range. I must admit I normally wouldn't go towards a Valentines Day theme...... I had visions for this range, I was going to do layouts of me and DH but after discovering the lack of photos of either of us together or apart, it left me scratching my head as in what to do, how do you make a romantic range into something else?
